Additional projects for the collection and disposal of rainwater in the Municipality of Messina

The project “Additional projects for the collection and disposal of rainwater in the Municipality of Messina“, has a budget of € 2,008,064.52 and is funded by PHILODIMOS I program, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This project is intended for the flood protection of the Municipality of Messina.

It is planned to build rainwater pipes, from prefabricated cement pipes of various dimensions, wells and visiting wells within the city of Messina.

The construction of the project, will significantly alleviate the entire area in which rainwater is currently stagnating, causing significant problems for vehicles, pedestrians and avoiding floods in underground and ground floor buildings resulting in the destruction of property.
