Replacement of parts of the internal high water supply network of the Municipality of Messina

The project “Replacement of parts of the internal water supply network of the high zone of the Municipality of Messina”. is with a total budget of € 2,893,000.00 and funding from the PELOPONNESE WFP
The proposal concerns the replacement of pipelines of the internal water supply network of the city of Messina and the replacement of the supply pipeline of the coastal zone, so that the network can meet the current and future water supply needs of the high zone of the city and its operational requirements. In the present proposal, the section will be replaced, which is located within the city plan and presents serious operational problems (daily failures) that result in the inconvenience of citizens and high rehabilitation costs. from 30 km in total of D.K. Messina.
The focus of the project is the modernization and the complete renovation of the water supply network of the high zone, with the replacement of the old and insufficient cross-section of water supply pipes. The aim is to ensure the supply of high quality water to consumers and the full coverage of the water supply within the city plan settlement, as well as to reduce water loss due to frequent failures in the existing network.
